Yes, they can make wonderful pets for the right owners. They are social, intelligent, and have unique behaviors that can be fascinating to observe.

However, it’s important to understand their specific needs, including socialization, a proper diet, training, and a stimulating environment.

They require time, commitment, and specialized care, so potential owners should carefully consider their ability to meet these requirements before adopting one.

2. What do gliders eat?

Joeys have omnivorous diets, consisting of a variety of foods. A balanced diet includes specialized sugar glider pellets or commercial diets as the foundation.

Fresh fruits, vegetables, lean protein sources (such as insects or cooked chicken), and calcium-rich foods are also important. It’s essential to provide a diverse range of food options to meet their nutritional needs.

3. How much do they cost?

The cost can vary depending on factors such as the breeder, lineage, age, and location. On average, a sugar glider can range in price from $200 to $500 or more.

You can get them for sale here from E.P.D Florida or on our website.

Don’t try craigslist, the gliders may not be licensed.

They are nocturnal, so even if you promise to give them plenty of attention all day, you would be depriving them of a companion to run around, groom, and play with at night when they are awake.

They are colony creatures, and putting them in solitary confinement throughout every night of their lives can result in them getting depressed. We only allow you to adopt 2 or more.
